Turkey maxicards were analyzed based on scans. I showed Atadan and
experts Delcampe postcards too. Of course they look genuine without
knowing about postcards (he says previously that were fakes). That is how good the counterfeiter is.
However not all your maxicards I can find corresponding postcards. One
example is 1929 Athens Acropolis. Therefore it is probably 50% genuine.
Vasilios Agrafiotis who is vice Chairman of EESMC, is one of theexperts I asked, he said he needs higher resolution scan of stamp and
cancellation which I did not get from you.
I am collector and I do not cheat. I spend more money buying maxicards
from various sources (Delcampe, eBay, auction houses, collectors) than
any one on earth. Chinese buyers are not collectors, they are
resellers who work for many collectors. I have been buying over ten
years, other buyers come and go, but over the last ten years since I
start collecting, I spend over $100,000. Therefore a few thousand
dollars loss to Sergio and other Italian forger is almost nothing
(less than 10%). |
